The "low" number, in this case 5 or 10, is a viscosity seen when the oil is "cold" - ie; startup. The lower the number, the thinner it is. 5 is good to have for when it's very cold outside as it will flow sooner than 10. That being said, low numbers are good, and as long as you don't have really bad seals letting the oil leak everywhere in the summer you should be able to run it no problem.
